I'm trying to use tcpdump on my freebsd 1.2.5R machine and I get: tcpdump: /dev/bpf0: Device not configured I've compiled the kernel with the bpfilter set to 4. Of course I'm not sure if my el cheapo ne2000 clone can go into the saucy/sexy/promiscuous mode (it's based on a UMC chipset). Anyone have any ideas on what to try? John Scharles
