https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=241296 Bug ID: 241296 Summary: bsdinstall: guided encrypted ZFS partition size (feature request) Product: Base System Version: 12.0-RELEASE Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Many People Priority: --- Component: bin Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: tomek@cedro.info Hello world :-) Thank you for easy guided setup of encrypted ZFS root via bsdinstall. However not always using whole disk is sensible/desired. When installing on a laptop where other operating systems must also reside a given size of FreeBSD zroot would be nice to have. I have wasted some precious days to setup encrypted ZFS root by hand using simple shell and still some things could be done better when I simply had partition size option during guided setup. Best regards :-) Tomek CEDRO -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.help
