Sorry for increasing it by not understanding your requirements. Quite frankly, I don't think you can accomplish (what I now think you want) once you close the tcp/ip connection. Something must continue running to keep the connection alive. Certainly, moving to a different ip address will require a fresh log in. -- Paul A.
