Perhaps, that is mbuf cluster exhaustion. Please show output of commands: netstat -m vmstat -z | egrep 'ITEM|mbuf' sysctl kern.ipc.nmbclusters How much RAM do they have? Do they run 32 bit or 64 bit system?
