I run three monitors with xfce just fine here:

DP-1 connected primary 1920x1920+1200+0 (normal left inverted right x
axis y axis) 476mm x 476mm
HDMI-3 connected 1600x1200+3120+257 (normal left inverted right x axis
y axis) 432mm x 324mm

However, these three are all driven by a single onboards Intel chipset,
not two different graphic adapters.
