I couldn't have determined it was really a prerequisite or not. Your patch applied cleanly, built fine and at least currently no harm to graphics/nvidia-drm-61-kmod on stable/14, amd64 at commit b0d6aa07c19370fd9c936f4ed28fe391b530bb9f.
