hi guys, spent 3 hours with google trying to find a solution for this... help? problem: Mounting root from ufs:/dev/idad0s1a hangs machine with smp enabled machine: proliant 6000 procs: (4) matched stepping ppro 200's ram: 512 megs drives: 4 4.3 gig scsi's on a smart 2/p raid controller. the machine runs fine under generic. kernel changes: options MAXMEM=524288 options SMP # Symmetric MultiProcessor Kernel options APIC_IO # Symmetric (APIC) I/O rebooted and got to Mounting root from ufs:/dev/idad0s1a and the machine hung. tried this multiple times. anyone have any suggestions for me? thanks, -dd To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
