If you are not careless, you will not be infected by a virus.

Your hyperbolic, unwarranted, and prolonged rants against Microsoft say
otherwise.  In fact, they are so incongruous in context that they lead one
to question your ability to be even moderately objective in any domain that
Microsoft may have ever touched at any time, and even in domains that
Microsoft has never even approached (since you appear to see their wicked
hand even where it has never reached).

No.  Viruses are spread by careless users almost exclusively.  If you take
even a few precautions, you won't be infected by viruses.
