An alternative that works almost as well and is simpler to set up: have procmail sort your mail into different directories by mailing list. For example: # FreeBSD Questions Mailing list :0 * freebsd-questions@freebsd.org $MAILDIR/FreeBSD-Questions So all the mail from the FreeBSD-Questions list is sorted into a directory. Less overhead, easy to reply, and works much like a newsreader.
