	Yes, your limiting factor is the motherboard's controller.  You may want to
upgrade to an add-on controller for better performance from your disk.

	I think the probe looks at what the drive's firmware replies that it's
capable of and then looks at the speed that the cable is capable of
handling.  That's not something I'd worry about if you know that your
controller is ATA33 and your drive is faster.
