Hey, how did null.ko get loaded? Are you using nullfs? I'm not an FS
person, but the mount_null() man page says:
BUGS
THIS FILESYSTEM TYPE IS NOT YET FULLY SUPPORTED (READ: IT DOESN'T WORK)
AND USING IT MAY, IN FACT, DESTROY DATA ON YOUR SYSTEM. USE AT YOUR OWN

This is enough for me to suggest you get nullfs out of the picture
before proceeding any further..
