I'm currently using a SB PCI 128. Most of the time I'm quite pleased with it. Playing MP3's and various systemsound. But playing DVD's (vlc etc.) a few mp3's and some games I get this scratchy, electric sound like some bad wiring or something. I can't figure out whether it's the soundcard or some bad decoding going on? Is SB PCI128 suited for movies and such? Would a jump to eg. SB Live 5.1 stop these articfacts?
