[-- Attachment #1 --] I recently purchased a copy of FreeBSD 3.2 to run on my Dell Inspiron 7000 laptop. The Ethernet card that I have, a 3COM 3C574TX is currently unsupported. I am therefore in the process of purchasing a new (PCMCIA) one. The list of supported devices is relatively sparse for PC cards. I noticed that "PCMCIA Ethernet cards from IBM and National Semiconductor are also supported." I was wondering if you could list specific models, especially for a 10/100 or 100 Mbit card. Which ones work the best? Thanks. I've tried calling 3COM and Intel (who assured me that their Cardbus card would work -- it didn't -- since it had the same chipset as the Pro 10/100B) and the general response I get is that they don't provide specific drivers for FreeBSD.
