Ache, Tried this problem on the Apache folks .. they voted out ( rse@apache... ). After death of my old FreeBSD 2.0.5 and Apache 1.2b7 web server, I had to rebuild leading to upgrade Apache (now 1.3.3) with newer FreeBSD 2.2.8. None of my "prior working" (which relied on mod_include, which was compiled in before) "<!--#include virtual..etc -->" or my "<!--#echo variable.stuff -->" is now being honored by the new 228 FreeBSD as patched ( from ports -> make build .. ) httpd. "Httpd -l" REPORTS that mod_include.c IS present .. BUT the "Netscape -> View_source" shows the <!--#incl.. etc are NOT being processed as calls but just as comments .. It is broken and visible here now at http://www.vhwy.com and View_source. Any ideas for a fix would be really welcome .. been down over a week now .. looking for why mod_include WONT include includes or echoes. I have followed all the "Add" and "Options" required from the Apache Web page and instructions in the html that came with 1.3.3 .. Thank you, /Everett/ === Everett Batey - efb@yahoo.com Web http://www.vhwy.com Page 805 655-2017 - PCS Msgs 888 522-VHWY - 805 340-6471 _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
