 Oh yes!  They are still in use.

 In fact, I'm upset with the latest trend in ATX motherboards to
 eliminate the ISA slot... because then I won't be able to use them.

 At $15 for a monitor (or even less) and $7 for a card; you sure
 can make really good use of them.
