} Thanks to Danny's patch the qpopper expiry problem is now solved for me.  I've tested it briefly, and it works.

It's all because of this freely distributable stuff.  The whole OS is
there for the taking -- source code.

When somebody wants a new feature they can *steal* it from one place
and stuff it into another, wherever they please!

How could someone let this happen?!
