Having taken the card out and peeled back various labels (who needs a warranty anyway? :) the markings on the tuner say that it's a Temic 3X7 004 (NTSC), Frontend 4032 FY5. This would seem to match up with the tuner that FreeBSD reports on bootup. Plugging the audio-out directly into the speakers, or to a hi-fi amplifier (and then to speakers) makes no difference either, thus definitely ruling out any kind of problem between the capture card and sound card. Is there any other information I can produce to help track down this problem? -aDe -- Ade Lovett, Demon Internet, Austin, Texas.
