I've got a SB128PCI, and I have a similar problem. Whenever the mouse curser from moused moves on the console, I hear static in sound. I also hear small blits of static when I change consoles. I use sysmouse, but I hear no static in X when the mouse cursor moves. I know nothing about the topic, but I think there might be something up with the console/sound code... It's annoying to have to not move the mouse to get clear audio.
