To: Coleman Kane <zombyfork@gmail.com> This seems to be an ongoing thing. I see 3 fundamental requirements that need to be met in the ia32 compat. #1. Allow installation of 32-bit binary packages on AMD64 machines. #2. Provide the bits nessisary to build i386-only ports on an AMD64 machine to run in compat mode #3. Have some logical way to split the 32-bit system, from the main AMD64 base. Otherwise, there's no chance we'll get configure scripts to ever work properly. I like the "/usr/compat/ia32" idea, myself.home | help
