Can't get ip-up to work. Here's some information: -rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 55 Apr 25 07:17 ip-up The contents are simple: showaudio /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/afterstep/sounds/drip.au a command which runs fine ("ping!") from the command line. I use pppd run from a script, as follows: pppd connect 'chat -vf /usr/local/bin/mew1' /dev/cuaa2 38400 -detach debug crtsc ts modem mtu 500 dns1 198.7.0.1 dns2 198.7.0.2 defaultroute 166.84.254.60:198.7.0.124 where mew1 is: "" ATDT9,7414444 CONNECT "" ease? ppp ame lsmarso ord #mypassword# On a previous FreeBSD install, it worked fine. I believe I'm doing everything the same. Best regards. -- Larry S. Marso lsmarso@panix.com
