Do yourself a favor & use one of the cards that is known to work
consistently ..... eg 3-com 509 / SMC 8013 (ISA) or  virtually any 3-com /
SMC / Digital / Intel / Tulip (PCI). The mailing list archives are full of
problem reports from people using other cards.
