Both dump and restore of selected files. This is with variable blocksize. Matthew: Did you test making a fulltape dump (until EOT) that caused a kernel panic (kernel from Nov 7) for me? I can't test this easily now beqause my large datadisk finally failed. I should get a replacement sometime next week.
