I notice that 4.3 has changed burncd to include '-m' multisessions on close. I recently upgraded to 4.3 and whenever I tried to use this utility to burn a CD is received a (sorry, not complete) IOCTL CLOSE input/output error. This always occurred during 'fixate' phase (the message suggests that fixate had finished though). I've now downgraded back to 4.2 as the burncd utility works fine on this release. brief details (more it requested) are:- CD-Writer is a Yahama (dmesg) entry follows :- acd0: CD-RW <YAMAHA CRW8824E> at ata1-master using WDMA2 This is a 32x8x8 drive attached as a master to the secondary IDE strip, and has a : acd1: DVD-ROM <Pioneer DVD-ROM ATAPIModel DVD-104S 0118> at ata1-slave using UDMA33 as a slave. My machine is a : CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) Processor (900.04-MHz 686-class CPU) using a SolTek SL-75 series motherboard. I upgraded the day after the release, using FTP as the transfer from the primary UK ftp server (ftp.plig.org). -- Mark W J Redding Chaos reigns within. Reflect, repent and reboot. Order shall return.
