Hi all, I’m facing a strange problem with a LSI SAS 3008 HBA (LSI 9300-4iA) my setup was running since one week without any problem when suddenly one SSD was remove by the OS or ZFS because of a read/write timeout (maybe trimming problem ?) but it’s not the source of my problem just right now indeed the SSD seems working fine in another slot of the expander or in another computer. My problem is that slot is not working anymore under FreeBSD with any disk, firmware or driver combination. I tried to reinstall the OS and upgrade the driver and firmware but the problem is still there however that slot working normally into the BIOS of the HBA or under Linux. I made some search and I heard about a tool called lsiutil which is able to change the mapping of the devices within the BIOS of the HBA but the few versions that I found work only under Linux and they do not detect my HBA. Did someone know where I can obtain that tool ? ________________________________________ Christophe Aubry System Engineer Route des marnières, 3 1380 Lasne BE Tel: 003226261333 Fax: 003226261339 Mail: Christophe.Aubry@keysource.be - www.keysource.be
