Kip: Yes, we have a dependancy that both IPv4 and IPv6 are present. A while ago the guy that works on the NetBSd side of the code (who I can't remember his name since he has pretty much stopped working on it.. sigh) was trying to seperate things out.. but we have never put an effort into making it compileable without v6.. or without v4 for that matter..
