I hope someone may be able to assist us. we are using version 3.3 and have multiple ip aliases setup and working on 3 ethernet interfaces (1 external 10 Meg, 2 internal 1 x 10 Meg, 1 x 100 Meg), 19 to be precise. The firewall and Divert is configured into the kernel, natd is working for external to internal (internal mail and www) translations, as well as internal to external. If we attempt to add another network alias natd core dumps on startup and we lose all our network (all interfaces). our /etc/rc.conf file contains these typical entries on one of its 3 interfaces: ifconfig_ed1="inet 203.44.60.2 netmask 255.255.255.192" ifconfig_ed1_alias0="inet 203.44.60.3 netmask 255.255.255.255 broadcast 203.44.60.255" ifconfig_ed1_alias1="inet 203.44.60.4 netmask 255.255.255.255 broadcast 203.44.60.255" ifconfig_ed1_alias2="inet 203.44.60.30 netmask 255.255.255.255 broadcast 203.44.60.255" ifconfig_ed1_alias3="inet 203.44.60.31 netmask 255.255.255.255 broadcast 203.44.60.255" ***** up to ifconfig_ed1_alias18="inet 203.44.60.49 netmask 255.255.255.255 broadcast 203.44.60.255" when adding alias19 the natd dumps core !!!! any ideas about a fix to the problem would be greatly appreciated.
