Anybody working on one? Is a DVB card a MPEG-2 capture card, a MPEG-2 manipulation/mixer, or a MPEG-2 distribution card? from the DVB web site, it appears the answer to the above question is "yes". I have been digging around some of the MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 chipset company's web sites off and on for a couple years and I have not uncovered a huge amount of technical information that could used for a drivers. A MPEG-1 capture card would greatly help FreeBSD in the MBONE server role and a MPEG-2 capture card would help for the new digital television services. I think MPEG-2 has better embedded potential for someone with deep pockets. --mark tinguely To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-multimedia" in the body of the message
