I hadn't noticed that difference yet between FreeBSD and Windows since I only recently built it on FreeBSD. On Windows the spell checker is an add-on (aspell). I'd guess the port will be updated soon. The 0.9.X release of Sylpheed-Claws is relatively recent (late May), but the 0.9 base it's built on has been a FreeBSD port for a while. But the base doesn't have all the Claws features. Hurry up and wait I guess ... or try to get past those build errors. -- Steve Sapovits steves06@comcast.net
