Like what specifically ?? ..... I use GUI things like webmin & ntop in
several situations
but they don't need X. I can imagine that a remote X would maybe possibly be
useful
at times if the various configuration files had a GUI  ... some of the
database ones ?? ..
but the little I've seen of remote X applications has not been impressive
(apart from
the excellent VNC of course)
