FYI, what I am doing with this series of MFCs is to bring the -current and -stable drivers into sync where possible. I was recently asked to add another quirk for a specific chipset, at which point I found that the two drivers are diverging to the point where maintainence has become a pain. Most of the changes I'm MFCing are cardbus related, and will naturally be non-functional (and harmless) on -stable.
