Hi gang, I got the 4.0 CDs today. It seems to be possible to "upgrade"
over an existing system, the /etc is backed up and something is copied
back. /usr/local/bin isnt mentioned in the Walnut Creek booklet, it will
hopefully be untouched, so /usr/home/*... Are other things to observe,
will the old binaries work with this system. should I deinstall and
reinstall things, linux base etc ?

Keen on working with the parallel port Zip drive, which didnt run with
3.1. What is with the new soundcard driver, will it support MIDI ?

Does the installation (with Kernel Sources) need more space than 3.1 ?
Will the old MYKERNEL file work (well, the Zip, Soundcard line will be
new) ? Anyway, think I should backup MYKERNEL manualy...

Heiko
