It is possible you are using your original MAKEDEV to recreate your
device nodes, try copying your /usr/src/etc/MAKEDEV to /dev/MAKEDEV and
try MAKEDEV all again, the same applies if you use sysinstall a lot,
copy the new one from /usr/src/release/sysinstall/sysinstall to
/stand/sysinstall.
