Accidently, I registered a MIME type at IANA with an extension, that is also in use by a windows application. What should I do ? Just ignore it ? Care about Windows users ? Even those with browsers that ignore MIME ? Should I care about the producer of the application, who is restricted in using MIME, if he might want to use it one day for his application ? How can I find out, which extensions are in use, why should I just care about "Band in a Box" ? Best, H.
