It seems to be related to the Ethernet driver (em). I've been trying without much success to chase it down, and I'd be grateful. The box is headless, and all communication is via the net, which doesn't make it any easier. I've tried a verbose boot, but nothing of interest shows up. They've been there for a long time, and they have nothing to do with the problem. More to the point, there are no other error messages. I've run three kernels on this box over the last few weeks: 1. Note that we're now ALPHA1, so it's a good idea to get to the bottom of it. The box is an ThinkCentre M93p. I'm attaching a verbose boot log, though I don't expect anybody to find something of use there. I'm also currently building a new world in case something has happened since Saturday.
