why dont you purchase the 2.2.8 final distribution set from WC-CDROM --it has all that speak off according to the announcements that 2.2.8 was a frozen point in time and all changes were made to 3_0-RELEASE --> CURRENT? for the few changes added after the CD, pick up the diffs by using first the CD and then cvsup; the log files in /usr/local/etc/cvsup/sup/... will give you the delta list.
