I use the box for playtime stuff only, so please don't commit the patch if
it feels icky. I'd much rather you guys file this as a use-this-patch-PR for
people who have the same setup that I have.
I really don't mind manually patching the kernel builds until a better and
more generic solution is discussed and implemented.
