If you have a line in /boot/loader.rc that says: > "initialize drop", do (i386 only): > cp /usr/src/sys/boot/i386/loader/loader.rc /boot/loader.rc > chown root:wheel /boot/loader.rc > chmod 444 /boot/loader.rc Thanks. Boy a HEADSUP letting people know that it was fixed would have been strongly appreciated. I was affected and I've been CVSupping and rebuilding regularly and hadn't seen the fix until after I saw the curt - read UPDATING message. At that point my UPDATING still didn't have the message above despite the fact that I'd been updating once or twice a day since Monday. I know it only affected a minority, but busted kernel module loading is a big deal. Just a minor venting. Thanks for all the good work. -- Ted Faber http://www.isi.edu/~faber PGP: http://www.isi.edu/~faber/pubkeys.asc Unexpected attachment on this mail?
