ok. it seems that version 2 has sio(4) compatible uart. does it work if 
you start bluetooth on sio4?

you are not alone :( for whatever reason sio(4) and pccard never worked 
for me after NEWCARD went in :( you might try to ask Warner (imp) what 
is going on here.
