Hi all! [ Please CC any answers to me; currently not subscribed. ] I am having troubles getting my umlauts to display on my FreeBSD 4.5-STABLE box... c'est un peu bizarre... I have font8x14="iso-8x14" font8x16="iso-8x16" font8x8="iso-8x8" keymap="german.iso" scrnmap="iso-8859-1" in my rc.conf and the term type in /etc/ttys is set to cons25l1 for all virtual consoles. Now comes the strange thing: at the login prompt, I can type those umlauts, but once logged in I can't do so any more. What can this be? Thanks for any advice on this in advance! flo To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
