Obviously some people have not been reading all their mail. (see below my message) As I have said before .... I am on 3.1-Stable (03/05/99). The box is under heavy load each and every day! The machine will unexpectedly crash any where between 2 and typically 6 days! (busy, or idle does not seem to matter) But on 3.1-Stable it seems less frequent! NO explainable reason! Just reboot.... and before anyone asks.... yes, I have set ddb and dump on, in the kernel, I am just waiting for the next time it reboots. and I am open to any other suggestions to find it!
