About 3 years... in fact until very recently I still considered myself a newbie. That is why I am now trying to help the newbies help themselves. :) > > Um... that's why I personally am trying to fix the problems with > > -newbies. I already have, I just have to upload it. As for the newbies page, again I am now to the point where I feel comfortable in adding my two cents worth in. Once I get the a few other projects out of the way, I will be attacking the Newbies page. I then plan on helping with the handbook and any where else I can. I also need to go through my notes over the last three years and HTMLize them. Please Sue, do not think I am attacking you personally. I appreciate what you have done for the FreeBSD project, especially with -newbies. I simply believe that you have become tired and/or too busy to deal with it like you use too. It's been a thankless job, and you weathered it well. I simply want see your work not go in vain. My call to completly remove -newbies may have been extreme, but it has come up with what I believe is a viable alternative, a rename of the list to something that will keep questions where they belong and can get answered, yet still provide those new to the project a place to talk and get help as they can.
