I have a similar problem; I can enable ACPI on my laptop (Fujitsu Lifebook C6175), but it'll only boot when there isn't any PC Card inserted. When my CompactFlash card w/ CompactFlash PCMCIA adapter is inserted, it crashes at boot. It works fine when I insert it after the machine has booted. > > Can I help to diagnose problem ? how ?
