Hi, I'm trying to run a shellscript during the rc (output to monitor connected directly to server) But when I do a "clear" I get the following error tput: no terminal type specified and no term eniviromental variable I also use the dialog utility ( /usr/bin/dialog ) but the output gets totally screwed up. What I gather is that the terminal info hasent been set yet. How do I set it? Any pointers to docs, howtos faqs are welcome TIA Jim.
