Hello, I am running a FreeBSD 2.2.7-STABLE which is equipped with gcc 2.7.2.1. Would I mess something up by installing a newer compiler? What about making a new world? Isn't the compiler build new from scratch (and therefore set back to version 2.7.x) at this point in time? As usual are any hints very much appreciated.
