Enter rehash command -----Original Message----- From: owner-freebsd-questions@freebsd.org [mailto:owner-freebsd-questions@freebsd.org]On Behalf Of Bruce Hunter Sent: Sunday, June 13, 2004 1:42 AM To: freebsd-questions@freebsd.org Subject: Application commands without having to restart Hello everyone, I just installed a port. Usually, a application has a define command to start it and can be run from anywhere on the command line. When you first install an application. The command isn't available to the system until after a reboot. How do I make the system aware? Refresh the commands list? Any reading material on this? Thanks for your help Bruce _______________________________________________ freebsd-questions@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-questions-unsubscribe@freebsd.org"
