Hi, I wanted to start up graphical login when the machine boots up. I understand that I need to use kdm for this or xdm. I want to use KDE as my window mgr on my FreeBSD 4.0 system. I have got it set up correctly so that when I type startx it starts up correctly. HOw do I set up kdm? I put the complete path to kdm /usr/local/bin/kdm in my /etc/rc file and the program crashes with a core being generated. Do I need to call kdm with some options or do I need to do some additional stuff to get it to work properly? Thanks Shameek ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
