For some definition of "know". See below. b) afford. They don't have money to buy one of the commercial UNIX solutions. They don't know anyone that can do their work on a free UNIX clone. They also know this "guy next door" that does "programming" and can present a small "server" written in VB (they don't know what the hell this VB thing is, but it sure sounds cool), in less than a few weeks. It doesn't always work, and it causes major headaches when the timezone shifts from EET to EEST, possibly crashing a few times a day too. But hey... it works "most of the time" doesn't it?
