Something is wrong in /etc/rc.d land in -current right now, /dev/null gets hidden or whatever during /etc/rc processing and the system is generally hosed by the time it gets to multi-user. In single user everything is fine. Moving /sbin/devfs away results in some whinage during boot, but a usable system. -- Poul-Henning Kamp | UNIX since Zilog Zeus 3.20 phk@FreeBSD.ORG | TCP/IP since RFC 956 FreeBSD committer | BSD since 4.3-tahoe Never attribute to malice what can adequately be explained by incompetence.
