Howdy! Just curious, but what is the standard way to implement cross-platform multi-threading? Java has native threads. Windows has native threads. What do architectures like FreeBSD and other Unix-like systems use? And what is the standard for cross-platform implementation? This is probably the wrong list for this sort of thing, but it IS a question, and it DOES relate to FreeBSD, and I don't want to set up another maildrop rule for yet another mailing list. :) Thanks.
