7 days was fine for me, I own 3 of their systems, so I could swap HD's in a
second.

I would buy IBM again in a Heartbeat, based on my experiences with their
support.

Interesting. On mine, they tried to charge me hundreds of dollars for
replacing trivial plastic parts that were scuffed but didn't
really need fixing.

Seven days is far too long when you're relying on a laptop. Especially
when the system is shipped in and out via an overnight courier. This
means that they dawdled for 5 days....
